Charles Idol will conduct the 2010 ALM seminars at five locations throughout the state. Dates and locations to be announced. Dr. Idol has been actively involved with credit unions since 1975, serving as a credit union director, SVP/Chief Economist of the Texas Credit Union League, Chief Economist of Southwest Corporate FCU, and credit union ALM consultant. He has published numerous ALM-related articles and developed several ALM software packages.

 

Specific timely topics that will be discussed at the seminars include:

  • Current credit union loan/share growth, earnings, capitalization, asset quality and liquidity trends.
  • The economic and rate outlook through the first half of the year.

The three-hour ALM seminars are targeted for credit union presidents/CEOs, managers, CFOs, investment officers, asset/liability management committee (ALCO) members, and board members.
