Economic/Rate Outlook and

ALM Trends/Strategies
CD Series
by
 Dr. Charles Idol

Dr. Charles Idol provides an economic and rate outlook for 2009/2010 and reviews prevailing credit union ALM issues; lending, balance sheet & earnings trends; and their near-term implications.  He also discusses strategies for maintaining an effective ALM process in the current economic and rate environment.  Other topics include loan pricing to assure profitability in the lending process, dividend strategies, and liquidity management on both sides of the balance sheet during 2009.

Board members, volunteers, ALCO members, and senior management will benefit from the CD series, which provides them with a backdrop for analyzing the implications of their ALM related decisions this year.  The CD series can also be a valuable training tool for planning sessions and in-house ALM education.

Each semi-annual CD in the series runs approximately 45 minutes and has a printable handout that can be used to follow the presentation.  The CD subscription service is $199, and includes 2 CDs presented in April and October of each year.

Order the series by completing the order form below and faxing to ALM Resources at 469-385-6595 or contacting ALM Resources at 800-442-5762 Ext 6497 or 469-385-6497.
