The Arkansas Credit Union League, on behalf of Arkansas Credit Unions and the Credit Union National Association, made a check presentation to Congressman Mike Ross at at a meeting in Little Rock on May 9, 2011.
League staff and credit union representatives used the meetings to highlight the problems credit unions are having with some of most recent Congressional laws that have been enacted, particularly on the debit card interchange issue.
Presenting Rep. Ross with the check were Windy Campbell from Electric Cooperatives FCU, Reta Kahley, League President, Ron and Claudetta Howard, League lobbyists, Dwayne and Carolyn Ashcraft from Arkansas Superior FCU, Tammy Passafiume from River Valley Community FCU, and Terry Tucker from Pine FCU.
