ALM Essentials Workshop Understanding the Asset/Liability Management process
The ALM Essentials Workshop is from 9 AM to 4 PM and the session is designed for all credit union employees and Board members who desire a better understanding of the asset/liability management process.
- Understanding the ALM Resources' ABAJO Key Ratio Report
- Reviewing and calculating your credit union's key financial ratios
- Update to the new CAMEL rating system
- Reviewing an expense analysis and its implications
- Market pricing of loans and deposits
- Explanation of the Corporate Stabilization Program and current updates
ALM Implementation Workshop Implementing an effective Asset/Liability Management process
The ALM Implementation Workshop is from 9 AM to 2 PM and the session is designed for all credit union employees and Board members who desire an overview of understanding and implementing an effective asset/liability management process. It addresses:
- Organizing a successful ALM process
- Developing an effective Investment and ALM Policy (guidelines)
- Reviewing broker/dealer due diligence
- Developing a consistent ALCO Agenda
- Monitoring and measuring liquidity
- Measuring and understanding interest-rate risk/sensitivity (GAP)
- Reviewing recent changes to NCUA's Rules and Regulations
