Arkansas credit unions and the Arkansas Credit Union League participated in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure, Saturday, October 22 in Little Rock.  Walkers from several credit unions made the loop between Little Rock and North Little Rock with about 44,000 other people.  Credit unions that participated in the walk included Arkansas FCU, River Valley Community FCU, Telcoe FCU, Alcoa Community FCU, Pine FCU,  Electric Cooperatives FCU, and Union Pacific of Arkansas FCU.

For those who preferred to cheer the walkers on, a tent was set up in front of the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel.  A number of credit unions plus League staff offered words of encouragement to those who walked.  Credit unions participating in the cheering section were Arkansas Superior FCU, Northwest Arkansas FCU, Diamond Lakes FCU, Rheem FCU, and United Arkansas FCU.  Staff from the League Service Corporation and the League rounded out the cheerleaders.
